New era kicks off for Agribution

STEINBACH, MANITOBA — Advancing Canadian agriculture by providing fresh access to new innovative products and technologies from around the world is the focus of a new company taking root in Steinbach, Manitoba.

Agribution Canada Ltd. specializes in the sourcing, marketing and distribution of new products that support sustainable and profitable animal agriculture while contributing to safe and efficient food production.

“Our vision is to make a positive impact in helping the livestock industry in Canada produce better food and better profits,” says Norm Paisley, President of Agribution. “It’s all about pairing the right solutions and options with the right customers. That’s what we enjoy the most about this business, along with the opportunity to work closely with great people throughout the industry.”

The company, established in 2015, recently moved into a new office and warehouse facility that has 5,000 sqft of heated warehouse space and is equipped with the latest design features to facilitate a full range of storage, shipping and receiving options.

“The facilities are well designed with the ability to expand for future development,” says Paisley, who has close to 20 years of progressive livestock industry business experience. “This provides us with a strong foundation to our activity and planning process as we move forward.”

Agribution operates by establishing relationships with leaders in the development of livestock based applications and then supporting them with services to bring those innovations to the Canadian marketplace. The marketing support provided by Agribution is targeted toward supporting awareness of the new concepts, resources and product options available. Distribution services are designed to support efficient and timely supply and delivery.

The company scope includes product options for a range of species, including pigs, poultry, dairy and aquaculture.
Among key early developments, Agribution has reached a partnership agreement with Nor-Feed Sud (Angers, France) and Innovad (Antwerp, Belgium).

The move to new facilities will facilitate strengthening existing relationships while continuing to build the business base. The new office space has a welcoming reception area, functional meeting rooms, offices and a laboratory — all outfitted with the latest in lighting and state-of-the-art digital communications technology.

The adjoining warehouse supports both shipping and receiving and is well suited for dry van semi-truck, flat deck and ocean containers. It also supports smaller shipments with ground level access to the outside.

“We are now well equipped to provide service across Canada,” says Paisley. “It’s an exciting time of new advancements. It’s also a great time to be involved in Canadian agriculture.”

Information on Agribution and further developments will be housed in a newly launched company website, located at www.agribution.com. The website provides an anchor to Agribution’s broader commitment to communications, aimed toward making relevant information on products and developments readily available to customers, partners and the broader industry.
