FormX P is a microgranular acidifier for livestock feed based on formic acid. The benefits of acidifying animal diets are well known. As an effective organic acid with a low pKa value, FormX P is an ideal addition for piglets feed acidification program.
In feed, the pKa value is an indication of an organic acid’s ability to reduce pH levels of feed or the livestock’s stomach. In many situations, it is found that the lower the pKa value of an organic acid, the greater the effect on the desired outcome for a feed acidification program.
